"Brad Martin Song Appears in Popular Soap"
NASHVILLE, Tennessee (July 22, 2002) -- Brad Martin's music made its daytime
television debut on the CBS soap opera, As the World Turns. "Run To Me" from
Brad's new CD (Wings Of A Honky Tonk Angel) premiered to set the mood for a scene in which two of the characters said their "reluctant good-byes."

A fan from Brad's hometown of Greenfield, Ohio, heard Brad's song during her favorite soap and e-mailed his mother to tell her the scoop. The zealous fan then made a three-hour trek to Parkersburg, West Virginia to hand deliver a copy of the show to Brad at his performance. Brad was shocked at the discovery. "All I can say is Wow! I'm flattered." Neither management nor Brad had any idea the song was being used.

Brad's debut single "Before I Knew Better" is steadily climbing the charts (No. 10 on the Music Row Chart, No. 19 on the R&R Charts and No. 21 on the Billboard Chart).

"Brad Martin: The Daytime Drama Continues"

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (August 29, 2002) -- As previously reported Brad Martin's (Epic/Monument) music made its daytime television debut earlier this summer on the CBS soap, As The World Turns.

Since then, the Emmy award-winning daytime drama has invited Sony Music's hottest young country artist to perform as part of the show's taping on location in Memphis, Tennessee.

The show's upcoming script will lead three of the show's newest and most popular young characters - the wholesome Lucy Montgomery (Peyton List), the rebellious Alison Stewart (Jessica R. Dunphy), and the object of both of their affections - the hunky Aaron Snyder (Agim Kaba) - to flee home, family and the law.

While on the run, the three teenagers will seek refuge and safety among their peers at various colleges across the nation. In comes Brad Martin, who will be performing at a college function during the course of the cast's adventure. Brad will perform three songs (including his upcoming single release "Rub Me The Right Way") as well as offer his talents to participate in a small scripted part.

This segment to be taped at Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee on September 26, 2002 featuring a special appearance by Brad Martin is slated to air in mid-November on the CBS Television Network. (Check local listings.)

Stay tuned as more Brad Martin daytime updates continue.
