"Brad Martin Song Appears in Popular Soap" NASHVILLE,
Tennessee (July 22, 2002) -- Brad Martin's music made its daytime television debut on the CBS soap opera, As
the World Turns. "Run To Me" from Brad's new CD (Wings Of A Honky Tonk Angel) premiered to set the mood
for a scene in which two of the characters said their "reluctant good-byes."
A fan from Brad's hometown of Greenfield, Ohio, heard Brad's
song during her favorite soap and e-mailed his mother to tell her the scoop. The zealous fan then made a three-hour trek
to Parkersburg, West Virginia to hand deliver a copy of the show to Brad at his performance. Brad was shocked at the discovery.
"All I can say is Wow! I'm flattered." Neither management nor Brad had any idea the song was being used.
Brad's debut single "Before I Knew Better" is steadily climbing
the charts (No. 10 on the Music Row Chart, No. 19 on the R&R Charts and No. 21 on the Billboard
Chart).
