The 2nd Annual Lane Brody Benefit Concert (benefiting
Walden's Puddle Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Joelton, Tennessee) enjoyed notable success in its second year with an up
close and personal concert event.
Singer/songwriter Lane Brody and The Nashville Sounds
hosted the event that took place on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at Slugger's Sports Bar & Grill atop Greer Stadium in Nashville,
TN.
Entertaining a standing-room only crowd of more than
two hundred folks, Lane and friends performed in an intimate acoustic show. Singers, songwriters and artists who donated their
talents in support of Walden's Puddle included Jenaí (Curb Records) who performed with renowned singer/songwriter Billy Montana;
award-winning guitarist and composer, Muriel Anderson; and other special guests Thom Bresh, Lisa Brokop, Lisa Carver, Dobie
Gray, Brad Martin, Devon O'Day, Kim Patton-Johnson, and Michael Peterson.
The event raised nearly $12,000 and was complimented by a silent
auction featuring various music memorabilia packages and personally autographed items. The top selling auction items were
a Nashville Sounds package including a Family Four-Pack and an authentic Sounds jersey ($100); a Jack Daniels Tour for Four
including lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's ($70); and a bronzed Great Horned Owl statue brought $65.
